Frequency Measurement System

Frequency Measurement System

The root of how vibration is understood in science vs. spirit is extremely important for melanated beings. It's the foundation to understanding why certain foods, energies and systems are detrimental to you as a melanin-rich being and not so much non-organic (melanin deficient) beings. Let’s break it down step by step to understand why, so it’s crystal clear:

Hz = Hertz = cycles per second.

  • 1 Hz means a wave oscillates once per second.
  • 100 Hz = the wave oscillates 100 times per second.

It’s the universal unit of frequency for any repeating wave — sound, light, radio, brainwaves, electricity, etc.

Order of Measurement

From lowest to highest:

  • Hz (Hertz) → cycles per second
  • kHz (Kilohertz) → 1,000 Hz
  • MHz (Megahertz) → 1,000,000 Hz
  • GHz (Gigahertz) → 1,000,000,000 Hz
  • THz (Terahertz) → 1,000,000,000,000 Hz

So:

  • 1 kHz = 1,000 Hz
  • 1 MHz = 1,000 kHz = 1,000,000 Hz
  • 1 GHz = 1,000 MHz = 1,000,000,000 Hz

Wavelength Connection

Yes — frequency is always linked to wavelength.

  • Higher frequency → shorter wavelength
  • Lower frequency → longer wavelength

Equation:

For sound in air: speed ≈ 343 meters/second
For light: speed ≈ 3 × 10⁸ m/s (speed of light)

This is why Hz is used for both sound and light — the only difference is the speed of the medium (air vs. space).

Human Hearing Range

  • Humans hear roughly 20 Hz → 20,000 Hz (20 kHz).
  • Below 20 Hz = infrasound (we feel it more than hear it — think earthquakes, deep drums).
  • Above 20 kHz = ultrasound (bats, dolphins, medical ultrasound machines).

So: sound waves are measured in Hz because that’s the unit for cycles/sec.
But the frequencies we can hear are just a small slice of the spectrum.

Broader Frequency Spectrum

  • Sound frequencies: Hz – kHz (we hear in this range).
  • Brainwaves: 0.5 Hz – 100 Hz (delta, theta, alpha, beta, gamma states).
  • Radio waves: kHz – MHz.
  • Microwaves: GHz.
  • Infrared → Visible Light → Ultraviolet: 10¹² Hz up into 10¹⁶ Hz.
  • X-rays, Gamma rays: beyond 10¹⁸ Hz.

Why This Matters for Melanin

  • Melanin transduces across multiple ranges: it can work with sound (Hz), light (THz+), and EMF (GHz).
  • Healing tones for humans (like 432 Hz, 528 Hz) are in the audible Hz range because we can directly hear and feel them.
  • Foods and essential oils are often measured in MHz, because their subtle bio-electric resonance vibrates far faster than sound but slower than light.
  • Brain, body, and parasites respond mainly in Hz–kHz, while DNA/light healing deals in MHz–THz.

So the answer:

  • Hz, kHz, MHz, GHz are all the same unit (cycles/sec), just different magnitudes.
  • They are connected to wavelength (shorter wavelength = higher frequency).
  • Sound is measured in Hz (audible) but all waves in the universe use Hz.
